Artist Bio

Born at McDill AFB, I am a rare native floridian- graduating from UCF in technical theater, I then spent 8 years in NYC as a textile artist. Moving back to St. Pete, I immersed myself in the scene and have done about 26 murals around town, showing canvas art in gallerys city wide as well. My art is contemporary realism, exploring hands holding fruits and various hidden themes. I love using still life I set up in my house, as inspo- along with images I have taken from travels.

WHAT INSPIRES YOUR ART?

I am inspired by the generations of artists that came before me. I call upon the Goddess energy of civilizations in the past to influence my design & always try to tuck a cheeky moment into the design.

WHAT DOES COMMUNITY MEAN TO YOU?

It's been my chosen family. I appreciate how everyone shares tips and boosts each other up. Community means getting through this crazy life a little easier.

What story would you love to tell through a mural?

Highlighting a special memory from my childhood, this mural tells the story of my Great grandfather, who Owned acres of orange groves in Polk County & spent his whole life here. Additionally, I am able to highlight my grandmother's Stained Glass by incorporating that into the design, too. An overall love story to my family.
